Time to start thinking about Mother’s Day, and iPhone users have access to a free app that could help.
It’s a fundraiser for March of Dimes, if you choose to round up your purchase price and donate to the nonprofit organization for preganancy and baby health. You can donate more than that, if you like.
Real Simple is offering the Mother’s Day Gift Guide app through the iTunes app store with 50 gift suggestions, most for $50 or less, according to a news release from the company.
That price point is important, as a PriceGrabber survey shows 62 percent of respondents planned to spend less than $100 on mom this year.
More than half of us will buy online, about a third will buy from an online daily deal site and about a third will wait until the week before to buy.
PriceGrabber has its own Mother’s Day Gift Guide, though it’s not a smartphone app.
I don’t know about you, but it’s the Father’s Day gift suggestions Real Simple plans to add next month that could really help me.
